Our Mission
We are committed to combating  food waste and alleviating hunger. Beyond tackling the material realities of food insecurity, we aim to transform community attitudes, driving food sustainability. Our mission is to foster a culture of empathy, awareness, and responsibility among students and members of our community, igniting a shared passion for the well-being of our neighborhoods. Through education, volunteerism, and strong community partnerships, we aim to build a sustainable, hunger-free future for all.

What is Food4All?

Change.

Food4All is a 501(c)(3) entirely run by high school students focused on addressing food insecurity and waste within our community.

We aim to reduce food waste, promote sustainability, and alleviate hunger by redistributing surplus food from our school lunch lines, local businesses, and catering events to food drives and homeless shelters.

We are committed to fostering a culture of empathy, awareness, and action among students and community members, inspiring them to make a lasting impact on the well-being of those in need.

How do we do it?

Across multiple schools in the Bay Area, our motivated members partake in weekly food collection and donation, while volunteering their time at food drives, educating our school staff, peers, and community members, about the impact of food waste on society.

Outside of school, our members collect from local businesses, events, and chains and distribute donations, nourishment, vital supplies, and assistance to food drives, shelters, and marginalized communities such as low-income families, minorities, those who experience housing inequality, refugees, single mothers, and other vulnerable groups impacted by poverty and discrimination.

At Food4All, we believe that every small action contributes to a larger impact, and together, we can create a future where everyone has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.
